The Four College Rose Against Female Genital Mutilation is generously sponsored by the Four College Equality and Diversity Fund. The purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness about female genital mutilation/cutting from interdisciplinary perspectives delivered by expert guest speakers; as well as to demonstrate college and student solidarity against this harmful practice in the form of creating art. Given that the rose is a universal symbol for female genitalia, students are invited to colour-in templates of a rose OR draw their own roses which will all be collected at the end of the event. The individual paper roses will be placed together to form one large rose. This collegial art-work intends to be framed and then displayed in Christ Church on every 6th of February which is International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. To sign-up please fill in the form by clicking the link below.

Members from Oriel College, Corpus Christi College, University College and Christ Church are strongly encouraged to participate in this workshop.
