The Decolonising the Law Discussion Group will be reading Jessica Whyte’s - ‘Powerless Companions or Fellow Travellers? Human Rights and the Neoliberal Assault on Post-Colonial Economic Justice’, the fifth chapter from her book 'The Morals of the Market - Human Rights and the Rise of Neoliberalism'. This is an in-person informal discussion among people interested in these themes. Everyone is welcome so please feel free to bring along friends and colleagues from other departments, we hope to have an evening of lively, interdisciplinary engagement with the reading. There will be some snacks and wine served as well.
