China is home to the fastest growing capital market in the world. London is the world’s most international exchange with more international companies than any other exchange. Linking these two markets presents a significant opportunity for both countries. The London Shanghai Stock Connect will connect these two markets in a unique and groundbreaking way through a two-way depository receipt programme. With a focus on the London Shanghai Stock Connect,  Karen Northey, from the London Stock Exchange Group will explore the wider connection between the UK and Chinese capital markets and how this could develop into a growing and vibrant UK-China financial ecosystem.
