Possession, Relative Title, and Ownership in English Law by Luke Rostill

Book Launch. Monday 22 March, 5 pm to 6.15 pm (GMT) on Microsoft Teams.

We would be delighted if you could join us for a virtual event marking the

publication of Possession, Relative Title, and Ownership in English Law by Luke Rostill, Associate Professor of Property Law and a Fellow and Tutor in Law at Trinity College, Oxford. It will take place on Microsoft Teams from 5pm to 6.15pm (GMT) on Monday 22 March 2021.

The book provides a sustained analysis of foundational principles of English private law, such as possession and ownership. We are very fortunate to have three commentators each discussing the book's arguments in relation to a specific context: Prof Birke Häcker (Oxford) will look at personal property; Prof Henry Smith (Harvard) at property theory; and Upper Tribunal Judge Elizabeth Cooke (Visiting Professor, Oxford) at land law. The event will be chaired by Prof Ben McFarlane (Oxford) and there will of course be time for questions from the audience.

To receive the Teams invitation, you will need to register for the event. This can be done by emailing zachariah.pullar@law.ox.ac.uk.
