One Essex Court Scholarship
One Essex Court is a leading set of barristers’ chambers specialising in commercial disputes. Members of One Essex Court provide specialist advice and advocacy services worldwide in all areas of commercial dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration, and Chambers’ work embraces all aspects of domestic and international trade, commerce and finance.
One Essex Court has enjoyed a close relationship with the Oxford law faculty over the last several decades. Chambers is proud to strengthen that relationship further through the One Essex Court Scholarship. The scholarship also marks One Essex Court’s and the law faculty’s shared commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity to meritorious candidates from diverse backgrounds.
The One Essex Court Scholarship, worth £10,000, is awarded annually to fund a student on the BCL. The recipient of the scholarship will have an interest in proceeding to the bar. There is no separate application procedure: successful candidates for the programmes listed above will be considered for the scholarship on their application for the programme in question.
