Newton International Fellowships
Funder Deadline: 16 March 2022
The Newton International Fellowship provides funding for two years for an early career researcher to visit a UK university. It is for those currently based outside the UK and who have spent less than 12 months of the last 36 months in the UK. UK nationals currently overseas are not eligible to apply. Applicants should hold a PhD, or will have a PhD by the time the funding starts, and should have no more than 7 years of active full time postdoctoral experience at the time of application (discounting career breaks, but including teaching experience and/or time spent in industry).
Successful fellows will start in post between 1 October 2022 – 31 March 2023.
Applications through the Oxford Law Faculty need to have the support of a senior member of the Faculty, to act as the Sponsor. This person will review the research proposal at the application stage and will be a mentor for the period of the two year fellowship.
Visit the Newton International Fellowship pages on the British Academy website for more information.
