Oxford Comparative Moot in German Law 2024
Associated people
The second Oxford Comparative Moot in German Law will take place on Thursday 22nd February 2024.
The Institute of European and Comparative Law (IECL) is delighted that the moot will take place again in Hilary Term 2024, building on the successful inception last year. The Oxford Comparative Moot in German Law is a unique competition for law students in Oxford to hone their comparative legal skills by advising on German Law in English. The event has been made possible again by a generous donation from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater PartG mbB. It is organised by Dr Johannes Ungerer, Erich Brost Lecturer in German Law and EU Law, with the help of Rebekka Geremew.
The 2024 moot will take place at the Faculty of Law on Thursday 22nd February 2024 (Hilary Term Week 6), 4 pm. The moot panel will be chaired by Professor Iyiola Solanke. She will be joined by a representative from Freshfields and by Dr Ungerer. Freshfield partner, Dr Martin Mekat, and his colleagues will be attending the moot as well.
Further information can be found on the Oxford Comparative Moot in German Law website.
If you would like to attend, please email Dr Ungerer.
