Associated people
Our Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Naomi Lott, will be releasing her new book, The Right of the Child to Play: From Conception to Implementation, on 19 May (published by Routledge).
This book provides a vital and original investigation into, and critique of, the situation facing the realisation of the child’s right to play. It highlights elements of best practice, challenge, and weakness, and makes recommendations for the continued and improved realisation of the right to play. Naomi's work will be a valuable resource for researchers, academics, advocates and policy-makers working in the areas of Children’s Rights, International Human Rights Law, Public International Law, Child Welfare, Urban Development, and Education.
Naomi will be holding an official book launch at the Faculty of Law on 15 June.
The Right of the Child to Play will be available in hardback and eBook format.
