Lavanya Rajamani participates in American Journal of International Law webinar on 'Climate Change and International Law'

Professor of International Environmental Law, Lavanya Rajamani, took part in a webinar organised by the American Journal of International Law. The webinar focused on the mechanisms in international law for addressing climate change, and on the impediments to and prospects for positive change. The other participants were John Knox (Wake Forest University School of Law), Tim Meyer (Duke University School of Law), and Monica Hakimi (Columbia University; moderator).

Lavanya said

It was a pleasure to join colleagues in exploring the range of legal and regulatory tools that can be engaged to address the civilizational challenge of climate change. Such conversations are important first steps in harnessing the full power of law to deliver the transformational change necessary to achieve a climate safe world.
