Katie Hoeger receives ESRC funded UKRI Policy Fellowship
We are delighted to announce that Dr Katie Hoeger has been awarded an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Policy Fellowship hosted by the College of Policing - 44 policy fellows to work in government and What Works Network – UKRI. The 18-month UKRI Policy Fellowship programme is designed to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange between researchers and policy-makers. As a Fellow, Katie will co-design a project with the College of Policing to inform policy in a priority area. Starting in October 2023, she will be working on the 'Measuring Harm for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Social Research’ project. The project will focus on whether ‘harm’ in VAWG-related offences can be better measured and operationalised using police data beyond aggregated crime codes.
