Julian Applebaum Wins Research Prize
We are excited to announce that Julian, a MPhil Candidate at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford, has won the Busuttil Domus Prize for his research on borough licensing of LGBTQ+ sex establishments in London.
The competition, organized by Linacre College at Oxford, recognises student researchers for excellence in research and communication skills. Julian gave a lecture at the college's annual Domus Prize event titled "Queer Utopias Under Siege: How London Regulates Queer Sex Clubs and Why It Matters". Selected from dozens of entries, Julian's work was praised for its originality and impact.
