What do the latest developments in AI mean for the future of work? On 3 February 2025, Professor Jeremias Adams-Prassl gave a Keynote speech to open the discussion of a High-Level conference in Brussels, including ILO Director General Gilbert F Houngbo, EESC President Oliver Röpke, Spain's First Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Diaz, Ministers from Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, and Portugal, as well as senior representatives of International Organisations and the social partners.

Drawing on the findings of his ERC-funded project on Algorithms at Work, Prof Adams-Prassl emphasised the need to embrace technology - whilst also ensuring decent working conditions in business across the socio-economic spectrum.
