The Institute of European and Comparative Law (IECL) is delighted that the moot will take place again in Hilary Term 2025, building on the previous successful rounds. The Oxford Comparative Moot in German Law is a unique competition for law students in Oxford to hone their comparative legal skills by advising on German Law in English. The event has been made possible again by a generous donation from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater PartG mbB. It is organised by Dr Johannes Ungerer, Erich Brost Senior Research Lecturer in German Law, European and International Private Law.

The 2025 moot will take place on Thursday 6th March 2025 (Hilary Term Week 7) at 4 pm.

Further information can be found on the Oxford Comparative Moot in German Law website.
If you would like to attend, please email Dr Ungerer.
