This presentation will look at the challenges raised by non-medical applications of neuro- technologies, (especially at the workplace), with a focus on the human rights to privacy, integrity and freedom of thought and EU regulatory approaches (for instance, the EU AI Act which prohibits emotion recognition at work). The reading for this session will be circulated in advance.
This session will be held in hybrid format. For those attending in person, lunch will be served from 12:15.
