The Oxford University Faculty of Law and All Souls College will host a one-day, in-person, workshop on 9 June 2023 in honour of Professor Catherine Redgwell. Professor Redgwell stepped down as Chichele Professor of Public International Law at the University of Oxford in 2022, having previous taught at the University of Manchester, University of Nottingham, and University College, London.

The workshop is for early career researchers, including doctoral students and independent researchers, working on topics and themes addressed by Professor Redgwell in her career. These topics and themes may include, amongst others, the law of treaties, international environmental law, international law of the sea, and international energy law, as well as wider topics in general international law. The idea is to create a space where researchers working on these topics enjoy close, substantive engagement with their work in progress. Nine presenters will be paired with a respondent for the workshop.
