This term, we have the pleasure of welcoming Francisco Urbina to the PLDG. His presentation will be titled 'The Force of Separation of Powers'. This is event is co-organized with Oxford's Programme for the Foundations of Law and Constitutional Government.

Francisco Urbina is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame. His primary areas of work are human rights, comparative constitutional law, and jurisprudence, devoting particular attention to regional systems of protection of human rights, the limitation of human and constitutional rights, constitutionalism and democracy, and the role of courts and legislatures in securing human rights and democratic government. 

The event will take place on Tuesday May 30, at 12:30 (The Old Library, All Souls College). A sandwich lunch will be served.
