ESRC Impact Acceleration Account

The Social Sciences Divisional office manages the second ESRC Impact Acceleration Account.

Within the programme there are four stages at which awards are offered, providing for knowledge exchange activities at different levels of development. 

The four stages are clearly explained in a diagram on the SSD website.

stage 1: KE dialogues - up to £2,500 (Applications requesting up to £1,000 will be reviewed immediately upon receipt and a decision will be communicated to the applicant by email within 10 working days).

stage 2: kick-starting impact awards - up to £10,000

stage 3: impact acceleration awards and KE fellowships - up to £25,000

stage 4: top up award - up to £10,000

Applications must be submitted through the university IRAMS - Internal Research Award Management System. You need to use SSO to log into the system and to start an application.
