Moot Archives & Sample Submissions

These submissions were prepared by two teams that competed in the 2012 Oxford IP Moot. The purpose of making these submissions available is to give prospective teams an indication of the style and tone that should be adopted when drafting submissions. These examples are illustrative only, and should not be regarded as prescriptive. Teams should ensure that they read carefully the current moot rules and problem, both of which contain instructions for the preparation of submissions – some of these rules have changed since these submissions were prepared in 2011. 

 

The teams that produced these submissions – Queensland University of Technology, and the University of Queensland – were both invited to compete in Oxford. We thank them for allowing us to make their submissions available.
