The work in this thematic area is primarily on issues of equality and discrimination law in an international and comparative context. Intersectionality is a crosscutting theme which defines the broad approach to issues, especially around women's human rights and women's inequality. Research proposals from MPhil/DPhil candidates are welcome in these areas.
Some of the ongoing and future projects in this area include: the restatement of race discrimination law, sexual harassment law after #MeToo, a left populist conception of human rights, and climate justice and equality law.
