The Competition Law and Policy Discussion Group is managed by our DPhil and MPhil competition law research students, who organise joint sessions in which they debate and share ideas relating to EU and UK competition policy and enforcement.
Discussions also explore articles and other materials related to contemporary global issues in the theory and practice of competition laws, providing an informal setting to explore personal challenges related to the member's research interests.
The group meets twice each term in the Law Faculty or one of the nearby colleges. The group is open to all postgraduate students at the University of Oxford. Each session focuses on one primary source material. As the discussion group is informal, prior reading, as well as participation in the group, is entirely optional.
Research students who wish to attend the sessions should email the convenors: (ece.ban@seh.ox.ac.uk) or (muhammad.wicaksono@wolfson.ox.ac.uk).
