Empirical Legal Studies Discussion Group

The Empirical Legal Studies Discussion Group is organised by the Law Faculty and provides a forum for the discussion and exchange of research in all areas of empirical legal studies: descriptive empirical work, experimental studies as well as theoretical research relating to empiricism in legal studies.

The group is open to Faculty members and all graduate students. BCL, MJur and other taught graduate students are very welcome.

The group meets around two times each term, mainly at lunchtimes. The meetings usually comprise the presentation of a paper or work-in-progress from speakers both within and outside the Faculty.

The Senior Members of the group are Professor Andrew Higgins and Professor Geneviève Helleringer. The Conveners are Dr Felix Pflücke (felix.pflucke@law.ox.ac.uk) and Amelie Berz (amelie.berz@bnc.ox.ac.uk).
