Research Associates Policy
The Centre for Criminology benefits from the activities of a small group of research associates. This status is open to researchers and practitioners who are actively working with members of the Centre for Criminology either on research-related activity or teaching. The status is granted by the Director on the basis of a written justification, which will set out a clear explanation of the joint activity. Research association is, usually, awarded for 12 months with a possibility of an extension.
Research associates at the Centre for Criminology will join our mailing list and will be informed of and invited to the Centre’s academic and social events. They will also be issued a University library card and, subject to availability, will be able to use one of the ‘hot desks’ in the Centre’s shared work area.
