AV Support

The Faculty of Law is pleased to introduce a dedicated Audio-Visual (AV) Support Service to ensure smooth operation of AV systems in our teaching and event spaces. This service covers both the Manor Road and St. Cross buildings and is designed to provide: 

• Daily Checks: ensuring AV equipment is functioning before lectures and events. 
• Lecture Capture: support and troubleshooting for the Panopto system. 
• Event Support: AV assistance for events, including setup and live monitoring. 
• Training: staff training to ensure effective use of AV equipment. 
• Specialist onsite support.

Requesting Support: 

In teaching rooms, initial support will be provided via Facilities Management (01865 2-71481, but best requested in person at the Main Reception Desk in the St Cross Building). They will escalate to AVSS if needed. 

For AV issues related to meetings, events, or teaching sessions that have already occurred, please raise the issue via the IT Support Group (ITSG) ServiceDesk. 

For questions about AV needs for upcoming events, meetings, presentations, teaching, etc. please raise them in the same way. 

Support is available during term time from 08:30 to 16:30, with additional support by request during non-term time. To report an issue, please contact the IT Support Group (ITSG) ServiceDesk.
