The Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal

The OUCLJ is the flagship journal of Oxford University’s postgraduate law community, designed for contributions from academics, professionals, and policymakers, wherever situated, on matters of current interest to Commonwealth legal systems. Created in 2001, it provides a forum for international debate on both private and public law topics. Some pieces are explicitly comparative in orientation, while others concern a single jurisdiction only.

All pieces published in the OUCLJ are selected on the basis that they are likely to be of interest to a larger Commonwealth audience. All submissions considered for publication are double-blind refereed.

The OUCLJ is published by Taylor and Francis.

Its General Editor is Mehdi-Jalalddin Hakimi.

Editorial Board & Committee

The Journal is edited and run by an Editorial Board and an Editorial Committee. The Board consists of the General Editor and up to four Editors, and is responsible for the production of the Journal. The Committee consists of the General Editor, the Editors, and up to 20 Associate Editors. All are Oxford postgraduate students.
