Delivering Fairness and Justice for Consumers, Business and Markets: 18-19 March 2019

The importance of effective dispute resolution, of collecting data to feed back and drive interventions to change behaviour and culture, and the relevance of mediation in ADR were the major conclusions of the latest Oxford Consumer ADR conference on 18 & 19 March 2019. It was attended by nearly 90 people from 18 countries, with approximately 40 Ombudsmen. A number of important pan-EU sector groups were strengthened, and a major development was the agreement of the ADR bodies involved in Telecoms to create a new EU network.
