Contact Hours and Certification

The programme consists of 16 contact hours spread over 2.5 days at Pembroke College Oxford and will be delivered by members of the Faculty of Law, led by Ariel Ezrachi, Legal Practitioners, Economists and Competition Officials.

All participants who satisfactorily complete the programme will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. To qualify for this, students are required to attend lectures and seminars to the satisfaction of the course tutors.

Accommodation

The programme will be hosted at Pembroke College, Oxford.

Celebrating its 400th anniversary, Pembroke College offers a distinctive conference venue at the heart of Oxford’s historic city centre.

Sessions will take place in modern conference facilities, while delegates will also enjoy the college's traditional setting, with breakfast and dinner served in the college dining hall that was built in 1848 and offers a fine example of early Victorian Gothic architecture.

Your accommodation is situated in 'Staircase' buildings which span the 17th to the 21st centuries - allowing you the unique opportunity to experience Oxford collegiate life.

Professor Ezrachi will be hosting a formal dinner at Pembroke College with a keynote speaker.

Individuals with disabilities

The Faculty aims to treat all participants equally and welcomes applications from people with disabilities. Individuals' needs will be taken into consideration, and reasonable adjustments will be provided within the resources available.

Students with limited mobility may find some areas of Oxford difficult to access, as it is an ancient city with old buildings and some cobbled streets. Similarly, students may also find that the age and layout of Pembroke College means some areas are only accessible by stairs. However, the Faculty will ensure that all the teaching rooms used for the programme are fully accessible and equipped with lifts, access ramps, and hearing loops.

Prospective participants with limited mobility, visual or hearing impairments, or any other type of physical or cognitive disabilities are advised to contact the Oxford Program Administrator in advance to discuss alternative arrangements.

Detailed information about accessibility at Pembroke College can be found at Pembroke | Access Guide.
