Registration Fees 2020-2021

We are happy to have the support of all our regional partners in running this year’s Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition under these extraordinary circumstances. As a result, we are happy to announce that all the Regional Rounds will be operational for this year’s competition, as usual. Teams across the world will compete from their respective regions to qualify for the 2nd Virtual International Rounds of the Competition. Our ability to successfully run the Moot Court programme and to organise supplementary events and activities around the moot is heavily dependent on our fee revenue. 

For these reasons, this year, the Price Moot Court Administration have introduced a one time flat fee of £400 for all teams registering to  participate in the Competition. This fee will be charged per team by the Price Moot Court Administration at the time of their respective Regional Rounds. Whilst we acknowledge that this is a new cost to teams, as a result of both the Regional and International Rounds taking place online, there will be none of the usual costs such as travel and accommodation.

We are aware that this registration fee might impose a burden on some teams. If your team comes from a low or middle income country please get in touch with us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to help enable participation in this year’s Competition.

Given the format of the Competition this year, we are looking forward to bringing elements of the International Rounds programme to all participating teams throughout the year. More information on Events around the Moot will be available soon.
