Michael Morrison contributes to policy briefing on neural organoids in research

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics has just published a policy briefing that provides an evidence-based and balanced summary of the main ethical considerations in neural organoid research and the ethical and regulatory issues that might arise in the future as research progresses.

Michael Morrison, Senior Researcher at HeLEX: Centre for Health, Law and Emerging Technologies, contributed to the briefing as an invited expert due to his research on the responsible governance of stem cell science (as organoids are three dimensional structures grown from stem cells).

The briefing will help to inform guidance and regulations to facilitate innovation and address ethical considerations in the future.
